I am postdoctoral reseacher and daily supervisor at the Intelligent Systems Lab (ISLab) of the University of Antwerp (UA). I studied Biology in the University of Antwerp and then completed a PhD on the development and application of proteome analysis techniques for the study of Plant Growth regulation. I evolved towards computational biology while working at the data-handling workflow at the Center for Proteome Analysis at the University of Antwerp. Nowadays I am interested in modeling biological systems as networks of interacting molecules, with an emphasis on proteins.
Besides work I spend my spare time playing and recording music and I have fun developing internet projects, mostly using the Drupal content management framework.
